CompanionTested uses almost no cookies. We do not run advertising trackers. Before you make a choice in the consent banner, nothing non-essential loads. If you accept analytics, we load a privacy-first, cookieless analytics beacon; either way, your choice is stored on your own device so we stop asking.
1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser; local storage is a similar browser mechanism for saving small values on your device. Both let a site remember something between page loads. This policy covers both, plus the analytics beacon we may load after consent.
2. What we set, and when
We keep this deliberately minimal. Nothing below loads for tracking purposes before you make a consent choice.

3. What we do not use
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking pixels. No social-media trackers embedded in the page. No fingerprinting to identify you across sites. Because we have no accounts and sell nothing, there is no reason for us to track you around the web, and we do not.
4. Consent, and changing your mind
On your first visit a consent banner appears, defaulting to the most privacy-preserving option: no analytics until you opt in. You can accept or decline. To change your choice later, clear this site's storage in your browser settings and reload; the banner will reappear. The site works fully whether or not you accept analytics.
5. Third-party sites
When you follow a link to swipey.ai or to a competitor's official site, that site sets its own cookies under its own policy, which we do not control. Links to swipey.ai carry internal organic tracking parameters (through Everflow) so we can measure interest in our own product; these are query parameters, not third-party advertising cookies, and we earn no external affiliate commission from them.
6. Changes
We may update this policy as the site changes; the date at the top reflects the current version.
